I love this newer product from ReachLocal. ReachReMarketing is very powerful.
Question: Who are your most likely next future buyers?
Answer: Someone who has recently visited your website.
Without ReMarketing, you don't know who has visited your site.

Once again, Google appears to be morphing their search strategy. From Eric Schmidt himself, Google’s new strategy for search is to provide you with answers, not just links. Here is the full article from Joel Falconer. I believe this is a nod to the growing influence of the computational search engine, Wolfram Alpha. They are a "computational knowledge engine".
If you think about it, the end goal of search is to find an answer. I think this new strategy will bring us closer to that goal.

It only makes sense for the major search engines to utilize this social media data to impact their search engine rankings, doesn’t it?
Depending on who you talk to, Google and Bing are already utilizing the data for this purpose.
But what are they looking for?
This article by Gareth Owen lists his Top 13 Social Media Rankings for SEO.
There are several interesting factors on his list, that I had not considered before, such as number of comments on YouTube.
For many local businesses, we need to start with the basics though.
I believe Google and Bing are even awarding “points” to businesses that simply create a Facebook and Twitter page. Also, you can earn additional "points" with a Google Places listing.
Basically, every day you wait to build your social web presence is hurting your search engine exposure.
